Good morning, good afternoon and good evening ladies,
Robyn here – creator of Kirana.
I’m writing to you from my little home in Perth Australia, all snuggled up with my 5-year old son, Ocean. I truly hope that you and yours are well at this time.
What an unexpected slide into 2020 it’s been! Who would’ve ever thought that collectively we’d have to pull together by ironically staying apart! It’s been an incredibly introspective time indeed, and I’m sure you, too, have felt all kinds of “what’s going on?” and “how long are we in this for?”.
It's been a rough time for everyone in every sense, and so on a personal note, I want to extend my heartfelt GRATITUDE to all the lovely ladies who, despite this hard time, chose to support Kirana. You have no idea how much this meant to me, and how much it saved me from serious financial stress.
THANK YOU SO SO MUCH for supporting my small business!
Special shout out to Jess Hutchison, beautiful artist from the Shoalhaven, NSW, for sharing one of my Kirana videos with her followers and as a result of this, drummed up an unexpected wave of Kirana sales I could never have anticipated. Thank you so much again Jess!
That all said, I’ve been thinking a lot about my little family, my various businesses, and in particular how best to steer my brand, KIRANA, going forward.
The closure of businesses Bali-wide has meant production for my new Kirana range has come to a halt. For safety, the wonderful crew who hand-make all of my Kirana products have gone back to their home villages to spend time with their families, since working in close proximity is not possible right now.
And so, I’m sharing with you that I’m unsure as to when exactly I’ll be able to release my new Kirana range for 2021. I have every intention of doing so, however, right now I have no visibility on when work will resume and when I’m able to fly to Bali for my routine quality-control checking of all production and design meetings.
I humbly ask you to please be patient as I’m a 1-woman show running Kirana. Please know I’m doing my very best to orchestrate the creation of the 2021 range as seamlessly and as soon as it’s safely possible to do so. As soon as I have some visibility on a release date I will let you know. Thank you for your patience.
I hope that you’re all enjoying wearing Kirana, and please, please, please contact me on firstname.lastname@example.org if you have a problem with any of the styles you’ve received. I am always here to help sort it out and to make you smile.
Thank you again for your immense support for Ocean.
Oodles of hugs (of the socially distanced kind) & much love,
